Relationship Ramblings

My Sex Bucket List: Le déjeuner sur l’herbe

For the longest time, I’ve fantasized about having a nude picnic. It’s not as if we haven’t tried; weather or location never seemed to cooperate. It’s something that had been an inspiration for some of our erotica; in my story, A Working Relationship and in my lover Parrot’s story, Up on the Hill. Parrot often refers to the experience as a nod to Eduardo Manet’s painting, Le déjeuner sur l’herbe (Luncheon on the Grass).

This time, we couldn’t pass up the perfect opportunity. It was a sunny and unusually warm early October afternoon on Lake Sonoma. The park and its picnic sites, hiking trails, marina and other recreational sites were absent of people. We found a perfect grassy spot under some trees overlooking the lake and surrounding mountains. It was if we had thousands of stunningly bucolic acres to ourselves.

We treated ourselves well. We picked up a spicy Cabernet from Bob Dog Wines, an amazing mountain top winery just outside of Cloverdale about 15 miles to the north. We found some artisan cheeses, heirloom tomato Caprese salad, and sandwiches at the Dry Creek General Store a few miles outside of the park.

Of course, the biggest treat was treating ourselves to fine wine, food and day in the nude. Feeling the warm light breeze on our skin was definitely the way to experience this perfect mix of the best of what nature had to often. While there’s nothing more that I appreciate than the time we get to exchange kisses and caresses in the nude, doing so outdoors only amped up the experience exponentially. When my kisses lead to pleasuring him by licking and stroking his rock hard cock, doing so outside was an extra-magical experience. Surprisingly, so was my lack of inhibition. We could see an occasional speck of a car drive by on the road from our perch, but we were far enough away that no one could see us. We could have easily spent the entire afternoon in our secret spot, but we knew we were pushing it.

Would we do it again? Absolutely!
